Things to Do

Los Roques is a marine environment first and a tourist destination second. The activities here are almost entirely water-based: snorkelling, diving, kitesurfing, bonefishing, sailing between the cays, and swimming in water that ranges from turquoise to electric blue depending on depth and angle of light.

The outlying cays are the reward for staying overnight. When day-trippers from Caracas leave on the afternoon flights, the beaches of Francisqui, Crasqui, Dos Mosquises, and the other outer cays become almost completely empty. The silence, the colour of the water, and the lack of development make Los Roques feel genuinely remote.
