Lobito's main attraction is walking the Restinga — the long sandbar that defines the city's geography. The Port of Lobito is the most historically significant site, the terminus of the Benguela Railway that once connected the Atlantic to central Africa's copper belt. The Estádio do Buraco hosts local football and gives a sense of the city's passionate sporting culture.
