A small, well-curated museum on the Corniche with a strong collection of statues and artifacts from the Theban temples. Far less overwhelming than Cairo's Egyptian Museum — everything is labeled in English, and the pieces are given room to breathe. The two royal mummies on display are a highlight. Budget an hour or two.
