Lambarene's airstrip (IATA: LBQ) sits a couple of kilometres east of the town and is used mostly by oil-company charters serving the inland fields and the lake region. Scheduled commercial flights from Libreville come and go depending on the year — Afrijet has operated the route at times, and at other times the airfield is effectively private. Most travellers reach Lambarene by road from the capital instead; check the current schedule with Afrijet or your hotel.
