Kokrobite is about 30 kilometres west of central Accra along the coast road. By public transport, take a tro-tro from Kaneshie Market in Accra heading toward Winneba or Kasoa, and ask to be dropped at the Kokrobite junction — the village and beach are a short walk from the main road. Journey time is 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic, which on the Accra-Winneba road can be significant. Early morning is fastest.
By taxi from central Accra, expect to pay around 50 to 80 GHS depending on your negotiating skills and current fuel prices. Shared taxis also run the route. The road is tarred all the way to the junction; the final stretch to the beach is a dirt track passable in any vehicle.
