The former Presidential Palace is closed to visitors, but you can walk out to the small bridge over the artificial moat to watch the crocodiles. In the late afternoon they are fed — a spectacle that draws a small crowd and provides an unexpectedly close-up view of the animals. There are said to be dozens living in the lake.
