Greenville offers few formal attractions, and visitors come mainly for the remoteness itself. The town sits on a lagoon where the Sinoe River meets the sea, and the surrounding landscape of tropical rainforest, beaches and waterways is the main reason to make the journey. This is about as far off the tourist trail as a traveller can get in West Africa.
