A short walk from the town centre, this family-run workshop produces Antaimoro paper — a traditional Malagasy paper made from the bark of the avoha tree, embedded with pressed flowers, petals, and plant stems. You can watch the whole process from pulping the raw material to laying out the sheets to dry. Finished sheets and cards are for sale at the end; they make unusual and lightweight souvenirs. A larger and more famous Antaimoro factory operates in Ambalavao to the south, but this one is more intimate.
