Chez Loulou is the Sunday gathering point for half the island — a beachside grill at Andilana that lays on whole grilled fish, prawns, calamari and crab to a soundtrack of live Malagasy music. Tables are long and shared, the wine is cold, and the lunches run on into the afternoon.
Open through the week as well, with simpler menus, but the Sunday seafood buffet is the standout. Book ahead in high season.
