The Namorona River cuts through the wet hills around Ranomafana and gives the area much of its sound and movement. You see it from roads, bridges, and short walks, especially after rain when the water runs hard.
It is not a formal attraction in the usual sense, but it helps you understand the place. The river, the rain, the hot springs, and the forest all belong to the same restless landscape.
