Chamarel is a small village and not a place with an active nightlife scene. The best drinking here is done at the Rhumerie de Chamarel, which is both a world-class production facility and an excellent place to sit with a glass of agricole rum and take in the highland scenery. A few small cafes near the Seven Coloured Earth site serve coffee and cold drinks to visitors passing through. For evening drinks, most visitors head to the coastal resorts at Flic en Flac or Le Morne.
