Coco Polizzi's Medina is a modern recreation of a traditional Moroccan medina on the edge of Agadir. Its lanes, stonework, courtyards, and artisan spaces give the city a dose of old-Morocco atmosphere that was largely lost in the 1960 earthquake.
It is a designed place rather than an ancient one, but it is still worth the short taxi ride if you want architecture, crafts, and a quieter break from the beachfront strip.
