The town is small enough to cover on foot. For the gorge, local minibuses and shared taxis run up the Dadès valley road as far as Aït Oudinar; negotiating a private taxi for a half-day or full-day excursion is also straightforward and gives more flexibility. Hotels can arrange transport into the Jbel Saghro for trekkers, and trucks heading up the gorge are sometimes willing to take passengers for a small fare.
