Eating in Ifrane is more expensive than almost anywhere else in the Middle Atlas — this is a resort town with a university attached, and prices reflect it. The main street holds most of the options: proper sit-down restaurants like La Paix and Chamonix, plus a strip of cafés serving the student crowd. Cheap eats — grills, rotisserie chicken, snack stands — cluster in the small market quarter southwest of the centre, where ordinary Moroccan prices reappear.
