Volubilis is best explored as a self-guided walk across the main plateau. The site is large enough that you will spend a couple of hours wandering between the olive press, the Forum, the Triumphal Arch, and the great mansion houses with their mosaic floors. Bring water and a hat — there is almost no shade on the site.
