Inhambane is a town for wandering. The main attractions are not museums or monuments so much as the texture of the place itself — the dhow harbour, the old cathedral, the colonial-era streets. Beyond the town, the coast nearby offers some of the best diving and snorkelling in southern Africa, and Tofo Beach is just 20 km east.
