Anchors at the Jetty

Fresh seafood at the working jetty

Anchors at the Jetty is a no-frills seafood restaurant next to the main fishing jetty in central Walvis Bay. The fish comes straight off the boats — hake, kingklip, sole, calamari, fresh oysters — and is served simply grilled or fried with chips and salad. The dining room is plainly furnished but has a good view across the harbour to the cranes and trawlers, and the front patio fills with a mix of fishermen, port workers, and tourists at lunch.

Prices are about half of The Raft's for similar quality (mains N$120–180). Service is friendly and quick. A reliable working-lunch option in the middle of the day, or an early dinner before sunset.
