The centrepiece of the Museum Complex, the Jos National Museum houses an impressive collection of Nigerian art and archaeology, including Nok terracotta figurines -- some of the oldest known sculpture in sub-Saharan Africa, dating back over 2,000 years. The Nok culture originated on the Jos Plateau, which gives the collection a strong local resonance. Well worth your time.

Ancient Nok terracottas and Nigerian art on the Jos Plateau
A story
The Nok terracottas were first discovered in the 1930s when tin miners on the plateau unearthed fragments of fired clay figures. Archaeological excavation later revealed a culture that flourished between roughly 500 BCE and 200 CE, producing sophisticated human and animal figures that predate most other known African sculpture by centuries.
