There are no direct international flights to Príncipe. All visitors arrive first at São Tomé International Airport, then take a domestic hop to Príncipe Airport (IATA: PCP), roughly 3 km north of Santo António. STP Airways operates two daily flights; the journey takes about 30 minutes in a small propeller aircraft. Tickets run €120–150 one way. Baggage is strictly limited — typically 15 kg checked per person — so pack accordingly.
A ferry service does technically connect the two islands, but the crossing is long (6–12 hours depending on conditions), unreliable, and has a poor safety record. The flight is strongly recommended.
From Santo António airport there is no public transport. Your hotel or guesthouse will usually arrange a transfer; otherwise, negotiate with waiting taxi drivers. The island has no metered cabs.
