Seychelles International Airport (IATA: SEZ) is located on the eastern coast of Mahe, a short drive from Victoria. It handles direct flights from Europe (Paris, Frankfurt, London), the Middle East (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha), and several African hubs. There are no direct scheduled flights from North America or Australia — most travellers route through the Middle East or Europe.
From the airport to Victoria takes about 20 minutes by taxi. Car hire is available at the airport and is the most useful way to explore the island. Buses connect the airport to Victoria and points south along the coast, but their schedules can be unreliable.
The ferry to Praslin takes roughly one hour from Victoria's Inter-Island Ferry Terminal and runs several times daily. The ferry to La Digue connects via Praslin. Helicopter transfers between islands are also available and are faster if you are short on time.
