Kabala's appeal is almost entirely the surrounding landscape. The town itself has little in the way of formal sights, but it is the gateway to the Loma Mountains and Mount Bintumani — the highest peak in West Africa west of Cameroon — and to waterfalls, Limba villages, and a mountain environment unlike anything else in Sierra Leone.
