The Old Biscuit Mill is a complex of converted brick warehouses in the heart of Woodstock, now occupied by design studios, small fashion boutiques, ceramics workshops and a number of well-regarded restaurants. The complex is the headquarters of contemporary Cape Town's design scene, with showrooms for several internationally known South African brands.
On Saturday mornings it hosts the Neighbourgoods Market, one of the city's best food markets — about a hundred stalls of fresh produce, prepared food, baked goods and craft drinks, packed with locals and tourists in roughly equal measure. The mill is also home to the Test Kitchen and other ambitious restaurants; book ahead if you want to eat there.
