Cape Town's sights range from the natural and overwhelming — Table Mountain, Cape Point, the Atlantic coast — to the historically charged: the Castle of Good Hope, the District Six Museum, Robben Island. The City Bowl holds most of the historical centre within easy walking distance; the V&A Waterfront is a separate half-day; the southern suburbs and the Cape Peninsula require a car or a full day's excursion.
