The Woodstock Exchange occupies a row of converted industrial buildings at 66 Albert Road, a short walk from the Old Biscuit Mill. Since opening in 2011 it has become one of Woodstock's anchor creative hubs, with three floors of small design studios, jewellery makers, fine-art printers, fashion boutiques and coffee roasters arranged around an open atrium. It's a working space as much as a retail one — many of the units are studios where you can see designers at work rather than just browse finished goods.
The building is also a natural starting point for exploring Woodstock's street art, since several of the city's best-known mural-hunting walking tours use it as their meeting point before heading into the side streets off Albert Road. Ground-floor cafes make it an easy spot to break up a walk through the neighbourhood. Open Monday to Friday during business hours and Saturday mornings; most individual studios keep similar hours but it's worth checking before a Saturday-afternoon visit.
