The Wild Coast runs for about 250 km and almost all of it is beach. The big names are Coffee Bay, with its famous Hole in the Wall arch; Port St Johns, tucked into the mouth of the Mzimvubu river; Mazeppa Bay, a fishing village with a suspension bridge to its offshore island; and Morgan's Bay, a gentler family spot at the southern end. Between them are dozens of unnamed coves where you can swim, surf, and walk for hours without seeing another person.
