The easiest way to reach La Marsa from Tunis is the TGM light-rail line, which runs from the central Tunis-Marine terminal every 10 to 20 minutes. The journey takes about 30 minutes and passes through Carthage and Sidi Bou Said on the way. The La Marsa terminus is right beside the corniche.
By taxi from central Tunis the trip takes around 20 minutes outside rush hour. The airport at Tunis-Carthage is about 15 minutes away by taxi. Buses run from Tunis to La Marsa but are slower and less comfortable than the train.
