The main beach at Tabarka stretches for several kilometres east of the harbour. The sand is golden and the water clean; the beach is wide enough not to feel crowded even in high summer. The western end near the port is more sheltered, while the further end is better for swimming when the sea is calm.
Facilities are limited — a few seasonal cafés and sunbed vendors — but the beach itself is excellent. Early morning is the best time, before the beach crowds arrive and while the Kroumirie hills are still visible in the clear light.
