A quiet, immaculately kept garden cemetery containing the graves of soldiers from Britain, India, Australia, and other Allied nations who died in World War II. It is a peaceful place entirely at odds with the busy city outside its walls. The CWGC maintains it to an exceptionally high standard — the grass is cut, the headstones clean, the flowers planted.
