Lhuntsi rewards travellers who like their Bhutan quiet and traditional. The district has one striking dzong, an active weaving culture, two important pilgrimage sites, and a winter tsechu that draws very few foreign visitors. Trails head off in every direction; days here are spent walking between villages.
