The gateway to Angkor is Siem Reap, which has its own international airport (REP) with direct flights from Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and other Southeast Asian hubs. The temples are just a few kilometers north of town.
Alternatively, you can travel overland from Phnom Penh by bus (five to six hours) or take the scenic boat up the Tonle Sap lake.
