Solemn Temple, also known through the Chinese name Zhuangyan Temple, is a small historic Buddhist temple site in Lanzhou. It is not as visually dominant as the Yellow River or the hill parks, but it gives the old city a quieter religious-history stop.
The visit is short and works best while walking between central Lanzhou sights. Come for atmosphere and context rather than expecting a large monastery complex.
