On the northern bank of the Yellow River near the Old Zhongshan Bridge, White Pagoda Hill is a park of pavilions, teahouses, and small walkways climbing to a 13th-century white pagoda at the summit. The views over the Yellow River valley and the city below are among the best in Lanzhou. The adjacent Zhongshan Bridge, completed in 1907 and the first iron bridge across the Yellow River, is worth walking across.
