Yuquan Temple is an old Taoist temple on the slopes above Tianshui, with roots going back to the Yuan dynasty. Its hillside setting gives the visit a little climb and a view back over the city.
The temple is still known for its spring, and visitors can usually drink from it after leaving a small donation.
