Huangguoshu is 45 kilometres southwest of Anshun. Tourist buses run regularly from Anshun's bus stations to the scenic area entrance; the journey takes about 40 minutes. From Guiyang, direct tourist buses depart from the provincial bus station; the journey is about 2.5 hours. Anshun itself is connected to Guiyang by high-speed rail (about 35 minutes) and to Kunming.
The scenic area entrance is not the main falls — a shuttle bus system operates inside the park connecting all the zones. Keep the shuttle ticket, as it is checked at each stop. Taxis within the park are available but expensive; the shuttle is the practical option for covering all three scenic zones in a day.
