The Huangguoshu Scenic Area covers far more than the main waterfall. Most visitors see only the central viewpoint and leave, missing the cave behind the falls, the Tianxingqiao karst area downstream, and the Dragon Palace caves nearby. Allow at least a full day for the main scenic zone, and consider a second day for the surrounding area.
