Xijiang is the largest Miao village in China, and the scale means it rewards a full day rather than the half-day most visitors give it. The daily cultural performances at 11:30 and 17:00 are worth seeing once; the rest of the time is better spent in the residential parts of the village away from the entrance plaza.
