Pingxiang is well connected by high-speed rail on the Shanghai-Kunming line. Trains to Nanchang take around 40 minutes; trains to Changsha (Hunan) take about 30 minutes in the other direction. The main high-speed station is Pingxiang North, slightly north of the city center. The older Pingxiang Railway Station handles some slower regional services.
By bus, Pingxiang is connected to Jiujiang and other Jiangxi cities. Wugongshan is best reached by direct bus from Pingxiang's main bus station (around 1.5 to 2 hours to the scenic area entrance).
