Yanji rewards wandering as much as it rewards visiting specific sites. The Korean cultural character of the city is present everywhere — in the food, the street signs, the cafes, the pace. The Yanbian Museum, Maopao Shan mountain, and the Korean Folk Customs Park are the formal attractions; the rest is found by walking around and eating well.
