The easy way to arrive is by ferry from Hong Kong — TurboJet and Cotai Water Jet run boats every 15 to 30 minutes to Macau's Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal and to the Taipa terminal near the airport, a one-hour crossing. The 55 km Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge, the world's longest sea crossing, opened in 2018 and now offers a faster bus link. Macau International Airport on Taipa handles flights from across East and Southeast Asia. Overland, you can walk or bus across the Barrier Gate (Portas do Cerco) from Zhuhai in mainland China.
