The Kun Iam Statue stands in Macau's Outer Harbour, a 20-metre bronze figure of the Goddess of Mercy rising from a lotus. A short footbridge links the statue to the waterfront, making it an easy detour on a walk along the peninsula's eastern side.
It is a quick stop, but the harbour setting is the point. Come for the view across the water and the contrast with Macau's denser historic centre.
