Kun Iam Temple is one of Macau's older Buddhist temples, set a little north of the busiest historic core. Its halls, courtyards, and devotional details make it a quieter counterpoint to the better-known sights around Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul's.
It is worth the detour for visitors tracing Macau's Chinese religious heritage.
