St. Anthony's Church is one of Macau's oldest Catholic sites. The first church here was built in wood and bamboo, while the present building dates from 1930. It is a quieter stop than the nearby Ruins of St. Paul's, but useful for understanding the Portuguese religious layer of the old peninsula.
