Xingjiao Temple

Xingjiao Temple was founded in 669 to reinter the remains of Xuanzang, the monk and translator whose travels shaped the Chinese reception of Buddhism. Its five-storey relic pagoda is the main draw, and the temple is one of the notable Buddhist sites south of Xi'an.
