Culai Mountain, also known as Longlai or Tuolai Mountain, is a broad mountain range southeast of Tai'an. It is often described as a sister mountain to Mount Tai, with a long ridge, pine-covered slopes, and dozens of peaks spread across a large scenic area.
It is a quieter alternative if you want mountain scenery without repeating the Mount Tai route. The main peak, Taiping Peak, rises to about 1,027 m, so plan for a proper outdoor excursion rather than a quick viewpoint stop.
