Chunyang Taoist Temple is a compact Daoist temple complex in central Datong, with a quiet courtyard and a more intimate scale than nearby Huayan Temple. The buildings were rebuilt in 2010, so the interest is in the active temple setting and contrast with Datong's larger Buddhist monuments.
It is easy to fold into a walk between the Nine Dragon Screen, Huayan Temple, and the old city walls.
