Nanqiao Bridge is one of Dujiangyan's easiest evening pleasures. The covered bridge sits near the old-town riverfront, and after dark its carved roofline and warm lights reflect on the water below. It is not the reason to come to Dujiangyan, but it is a fine way to end a day focused on the irrigation system and Qingcheng Mountain.
The area can be busy, with snack stalls, strolling families, and photographers working the same angles. That liveliness is part of the appeal. Cross the bridge, look back from the riverbank, and give yourself time for the old-town lanes nearby rather than treating it as a single photo stop.
