Suji Ancient Town is a historic settlement west of Leshan, once a post town and a starting point for pilgrims heading toward Mount Emei. Its older lanes include Qing-era stonework, courtyard houses, and restored streets that are easiest to explore on foot.
The town is also known for qiaojiao beef, a local food tradition with a small heritage museum and many restaurants. It is best treated as a short cultural side trip from Leshan rather than a full-day destination.
