Leshan's principal attraction is obvious and overwhelming: the world's largest stone Buddha, carved into the cliff face above the confluence of three rivers. Everything else in the city exists in its shadow, but a few sights — Wuyou Temple, the river viewpoints, and the surrounding landscape — are worth half a day each.
