Ngari's attractions are spread across an enormous area — the region is the size of France. The main draws are the ruins of the ancient Guge Kingdom in the west, Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar in the south, and the sheer experience of travelling through one of the world's most remote and arid landscapes.
