Jiaxing Nanbei Lake Scenic Area combines lakes, low hills, wetlands, walking paths, and viewpoints over the surrounding countryside. It is a more open, natural counterpoint to Wuzhen's canal-town lanes.
The area is best treated as a half-day outing rather than a quick photo stop. Go for easy walking, lake views, and a break from the denser historic-town circuit around Wuzhen and Tongxiang.
